Women Only Please - $1500 includes lodging, two dinners, all required art supplies including a premium sketchbook, and all workshop and field trip transportation. (A payment plan is available in the Shopping Cart).
For people who want to be sketchers and do not believe they can draw well enough - or at all.
You will painlessly learn to draw and practice those skills on location in various spots around Santa Fe and during plentiful studio time at the Casa. You will go home with a sketchbook at least partially filled with drawings you are proud of.
ITINERARY:
Friday - Check-in any time after noon. A TGIF Meet & Greet Supper will happen at 5:30 pm MST.
Saturday - Drawing Lessons and studio time. We will build the basic skills in ONE day to get you started drawing.
Sunday - Event - The Annual Santa Fe Studio Tour (visit various artist studios in Santa Fe)
Monday-Wednesday - We will alternate sketching and beginner watercolor lessons with sketch-outs in various locations.
We will also visit the studio of my neighbor, wonderful friend, and wonderful artist, Geninne Zlatkis (Yes - THE Geninne)
Thursday - Your freedom day to go off on your own and play tourist in Santa Fe, stay home and work in your sketchbook, go for a hike, or whatever pleases you. Those without a car can be dropped off downtown at my art gallery near the Plaza late morning and brought home again at 5p.m.
Thursday evening, we will have create-your-own pizza together and Show and Tell sharing.
Friday - Check-out day. If you desire, you can arrange to stay over Fri and Sat night at a nominal rate.
